We would like to thank all the girls as
well as the families who took the time to participate in the Stratford Novice
Aces 2017-2018 Tryouts. As a parent who has been part of the organization both as parent and coach for
many years, this year presents itself with a special opportunity due to the
number of girls who took the challenge to tryout out for competitive hockey in
Stratford. The original Stratford Aces played in the 1930’s so being part of
this historic name is a privilege and an honour.
This year, we have the ability to field two teams. One of our teams will represent the Aces in the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League (WOGHL) and the other in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL). The following teams represent very difficult decisions by both the Stratford Aces Association as well as the coaching staff. All of the girls came out and showed that they belong in competitive hockey. All of the following decisions were made with the future of each of the girl in mind in hope that the ability to compete will grow exponentially this upcoming year. We invite all parents (and girls) to attend a meeting on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 6 pm at the RBC Complex. Pizza will be provided for all and parents will meet with the coaches as well as representatives from the Aces so that this process can begin. The following website will provide parents with what is required from each family. Please note that one parent must attend with all of their cheques including the Fundraising fee.
