Late goal spoils the comeback
The Stratford Accumetal Bantam A Aces lost a 4 to 3 heart-breaker against London Devilettes at the Molson Arena on Saturday.

The Aces spotted London a 2 goal lead after one period.

Goaltender Megan Arnold battled hard to keep her team in it until Madi Smith potted a pair of markers to even things up in the second. Jessica Blowes assisted on both goals. Abby Gilchrist had an assist on the first Smith goal as well.

With the score knotted it was a new 15 minute game after the flood. London scored first with less than 5 minutes to go. Rachel Nash brought the home side back just over a minute later assisted by Gilchrist and Mikayla Flanagan.
With 38 seconds left London scored the go-ahead goal that proved to be the game winner.

For those of you that are trivia buffs there was a milestone moment in this game for one Aces player. Just before the end of the first period Jessica Blowes surpassed Kim Parsons in regular season ice time in the 2015/16 season. Welcome back Jess!!
