Bluewater weekend wasn't completely pointless
The Stratford Accumetal Bantam A Aces were only able to muster a single point this weekend in a pair of games against the Bluewater Hawks.

On Saturday at the Allman Arena blue liner Olivia Galloway got her first "official" goal of the year assisted by Ally Muir.  Joanna Van De Walle also managed to sneak in a goal assisted by Abby Gilchrist. Stratford did a good job limiting their opponents chances but ended up ending  up being "Van Hooydonk'ed". The talented Hawks player scored on two unassisted breakaways that proved to be enough for the visitors to leave town with a 2 - 2 draw.

On Sunday in Strathroy the two clubs were at it again. Bluewater opened up a two goal lead in the first period. A great solo rush by Kenzie Dietrich cut that lead down to a single goal with seconds to go in the first.
Bluewater added a third goal in the second period and both teams were held off of the score sheet in the third.

The Aces regular season record of 6 wins, 4 losses and 3 ties currently has them sitting 4th in their division.
