Aces LoseTough One to Jets Having made it through the round robin allowing merely one goal the All Equip Peewee B Aces suffered their first loss of the Orillia Girls Hockey Tournament in the semi finals. The Bancroft Jets came at the Aces with a very similar forechecking style. The Jets were able to capitalize on one of their shots in the first and in the second went up 2-0. This was unfamiliar territory for the Aces. Ryley Jacobs gave the Aces hope half way through the third when she scored off a pass from Chloe Bannon. Also assisting on this goal was Mihret Eliasziw. Even with six skaters after pulling the goalie the Aces could not put the puck past the Jets goalie again. This 2-1 loss was the final game of the tourney for the Aces as there was no consolation final. Here’s looking forward to next weekend in Cambridge for The Roadrunners Tournament.
