Notes
Peewee B Aces Finally Crack Ice On Saturday the All Equip Peewee B Aces finally cracked the goaltender from the Ingersoll Ice. Playing a home and home series in one day proved to be just what the Aces needed. In league play at the Allman the Aces played a fore checking style that kept the Ice away from the Aces end of the rink. Standout play by all the forwards meant that for sustained periods of time the Ice could not get out of their end. Ryley Jacobs scored the lone marker unassisted. The final score of 1-1 was not indicative of the amount of control that the Aces had in this game. In game two in Ingersoll the All Equip Aces yet again played all out and controlled the game. Apparently taking 31 shots on a goalie results in good things. On a shot from just above the goal line Hailey Walsh banked one in off the Ice goalies far pad. Determined not to allow a tie or to lose the forwards kept up their relentless fore checking and the defense kept the Ice away from their goalie. This 1-0 win was well deserved and can only lead to more success. Thanks again to our sponsor All Equipment.
