September 22/14 Stratford Peewee C Aces Dominate Twin Centre Hericanes In exhibition play on Monday night in Stratford the Peewee C Aces gave a demonstration of how to play hockey. Offensively the Peewee C Aces fired shot after shot at the Hericanes goaltender. Most of these shots were well within the circles. With two goals per period the Aces won by a score of 6-0. Goals were scored by Mihret Eliasziw, Anika Akroyd-Snider, Chloe Bannon and Faith Binns. Assists were picked up by Lydia Puetz, Ryley Jacobs and Mihret Eliasziw. Throughout the entire game the defense made sure that their goalie was very well protected. The entire team made sure to follow up on each other on every play which created a suffocating game for the Hericanes that only allowed them 8 shots on Emma Ivey. Overall the Peewee C Aces showed great skill and skated hard to earn this team shutout.
