Akey Shuts Down the Blazers
Stricklands Atom C Aces were on the road Friday night
playing against the BAD Blazers in Aylmer. Although the weather was frightful,
the girls played a solid game coming home with a 2-0 victory. The offensive
charge was led by Meg Feore who scored both goals for the Aces. Solid defensive
play by Belle Houle and Avery Nickel helped keep the puck in the Blazers end
for a majority of the game while Keira Akey put up a wall in net for her shut
out.
