Atom BB's End Regular Season With A Pair Of Wins
On Saturday, January 24th, 2015, the Stratford Egg Farmers of Ontario Atom BB Aces played host to the Woolwich Wild. The girls played a complete game, from beginning to end, and were able to secure a well deserved 3-0 victory against a much improved Wild team. Goals were scored by Arianna Catalan, Olivia Harding and Lauren Taylor. Assists were credited to Harding, and Madison "Maddog" Cardno. Goaltender Courtney Lott was between the pipes for the shut-out. Notable mentions to defence Addison Moir and Ashley Hodgons for great defensive play.
On Sunday, January 25th, 2015, the team travelled to St. Jacobs to finish their home and home series with the Woolwich Wild. Both teams put a great effort forward and treated the fans in attendance to a "dandy". When the final buzzer sounded, the Aces had held on for a 1-0 victory. The lone goal was scored by Olivia "Charty" Chartrand, assisted by Avery Wilgust. Courtney Lott earned the back-to-back shut-out. Notable mentions to defence Lauren Gibb and Jesse Dietrich for great defensive play.
