Tough Start to 2015 For Novice Aces
The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers had a tough start to the new year as they lost both games this past weekend.
The Novice Aces travelled to St. Thomas to square off against the Panthers on Saturday, January 6th, 2015, but unfortunately left their skating legs back in Stratford. The Panthers controlled most of the play for the entire game and defeated the Aces 2-0. On Sunday, January 7th, 2015 the girls looked for a bounce back victory at home against the North Middlesex Jr. Stars. Again, the girls struggled to find their stride and came away with a disappointing 5-0 loss. Despite the loses, notable mentions go out to forwards Ella Van Bakel & McKenzie Parsons and defence Sydnie Taylor & Hannah Mogk.
