Notes
The Dunny's Source for Sports PeeWee BB Aces had a successful week-end taking 3 of a possilbe 4 points. The Aces travelled to Aylmer on Friday night to meet the top seeded BAD Blazers. The Aces opened the scoring in the first period when Madison Smith fired in a shot set up by Abby Gilchrist. The Aces scored again in the third period. McKenzie Dietrich wrapped around a beautiful goal after some great offensive pressure from Brooklyn Rau and Neely Clarke. The Blazers made things interesting by netting a goal with 2:32 left in the third. Abby Gilchrist popped the Aces third goal in, and then Stacey Shackelton fired an empty netter in from the red line to seal the game at 4-1.
On Saturday the Aces hosted the second place London Devillettes. Brooklyn Rau popped one in for the Aces after a battle in front of the London net. London answered mid way through the third. The Aces fought hard for the remainder of the game and finished with the 1-1 tie.
