Schedule & Results, Optimist Club of Downie Midget A, U18, 2012-2013 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

The Optimist Club of Downie Midget A Aces opened their season with a 3-1 victory over the Brantford Ice Cats.  The team proved to be strong in the offensive and defensive zone with end to end action throughout the game.  Emily Patterson opened the scoring in the second period from a feed by Kayla Veldman.  Sisters, Jaime and Julie Van Nes both notched singles in the third, assisted by Rachel Dotzert and Jessica Barton.  Sadie Nelson and Megan Jackson shared the net with good performances by both goalies.
