On Saturday afternoon the Stratford Perth Auto Dismantler Novice B Aces travelled to Zurich to play the South Huron Sabres in the third game of the best of three series to determine who qulaifies for provincials for the region.

The Aces and the Sabres tied in game one 1-1.  Game two resulted in the Aces beating the Sabres in a close hard fought game 2-1.   The Aces were focused and determined to win game three in order to qualify for the Provincials tournament that takes place in mid April.  After the first period, the game remained scoreless even though the Aces dominated the Sabres.  Mia Kuepfer opened up the scoring with a break away goal in the second period which was assisted by Courtney Lott.  One minute after the first goal, Sydnie Miller won the face off in the Sabres end which resulted in a pass to Hailey Goforth who fired it in the Sabres net.   Less than a minute after the second goal Hailey Goforth recieved a pass from Adrianna Danen and found the back of the net with a wrist shot that beat the Sabres goalie.  The final score of the game was 3-1.
