Peewee B's To Provincials
The Vancea Financial sponsored Peewee B Aces team was victorious, 2-1 against visiting Blythe, in game six of the playdowns, taking them Provincial bound. Blythe got off to an early start scoring three minutes into the first period to take a 1-0 lead. Stratford was able to score back to back goals in the middle of the second with goals from Nicolle Crowley and Samantha McLeod and assists going to Maia Moore and Halle Blowes. Megan Jesse was tremendous in net for Stratford making incredible saves and denying Blythe of any chances to tie the game. Winning this series was the result of an entire team effort and a lot of heart. The peewee's will now play Zorra in the finals of their playoff series. Go Aces Go!
