Taylor Fluid Systems Peewee C - Chevy Good Deeds Cup - Deed #6

What do you get when you take a group of girls, bottles of nail polish and a sweet bunch of residents from Spruce Lodge?  A Manicure Party of course!

The Stratford Aces Peewee C girls hockey team visited the residents of Spruce Lodge on Saturday, December 22nd with spa supplies in-hand and pampered some of the lovely residents.  There was nail polish, stickers and gems, lots of smiling and chit chatting.  The girls were enthusiastic to share their time and paint some nails.  It was a great morning – and very exciting when the fire drill took place.  The seniors looked so happy and appreciative as the girls pampered them and made them feel really special.  For those not interested in having their nails done, the girls did some colouring with them.

Extra exciting for the seniors were the Timbits the girls arrived with.  The gentlemen were not left out – there was an exciting game of UNO happening with a couple residents.  Not to worry, the gentlemen were asked if they wanted their nails painted, though each one gave us a giggle and a “No”!

Bravo Stratford Aces Peewee C girls hockey team for bringing smiles and love to Spruce Lodge!  The gift of time is priceless and memorable for sure!
