Perth Auto Dismantlers Atom "A" Kick Off 2018-19 Campaign

The Perth Auto Dismantlers Atom "A" Aces kicked off the 2018-19 season with a pair of exhibition games on the weekend.

On Saturday, the team travelled to Waterloo and started the season with a convincing 4-0 win over the Ravens. The victory was led by the offense of Emerson Miller who had 2 goals in the contest. Also scoring were Ella Taylor and Lila Mortimer. Eve Binns, Lauren Leis and Mortimer picked up assists. Sloan Cameron was solid between the pipes and made many amazing saves for the shutout.

On Sunday afternoon, the girls were home to face the Kitchener Lady Rangers at the Allman. This was a hard fought contest that ultimately resulted in a 2-1 loss. Grace Kipfer made many saves early in the game to keep it close. With the score 1-0 midway through the third, Kitchener scored to make it 2-0 but a late goal by Miller, assisted by Jayda Houban, made for an exciting final two minutes including many goal mouth scrambles around the Kitchener crease.

The Aces are off for two weeks as they prepare for a home exhibition game against Waterloo on September 18th
