2 but nearly 3 to 0 win against Sarnia
The Sarnia Lady Sting were in town for an afternoon tilt at the RBC Arena against the Stratford Accumetal Bantam A Aces on Sunday.
Madi Smith continued her strong play earning a goal and an assist in the Aces 2 to 0 win. Jessica Blowes scored her first goal of the year in just her second game back after a lengthy injury. Stacey Shackleton, Brooklyn Rau and Mikayla Flanagan also earned assists on the day.
Megan Arnold was strong again in the Stratford net earning the shutout.
In the "Close but no cigar" category, Ally Muir was denied a highlight reel snipe but collected her recommended daily dose of iron late in the game. Kudos anyway!
