Accumetal Bantam A Aces visit RIT
This past weekend the Accumetal Bantam A Aces were fortunate enough to travel to the campus of RIT in Henrietta New York. The Aces arrived on Saturday of the RIT homecoming weekend with the first stop being a Division 1 Women's hockey game between the host RIT Tigers and the visiting Union College.

The Aces were able to see some exciting hockey with the home RIT Tigers winning the game 2-0. Following the game Head Coach Scott McDonald met with players and parents. The Aces players and parents were given a tour to all of the teams facilities located within the Gene Polisseni Center. The tour highlights included the teams gym, meeting rooms, team kitchen facility, team lounge and locker room. The facilities were fascinating for the group to see. A special thank you to Coach McDonald for spending time with the players and parents.

On Sunday the Aces met up with the Rochester Edge Bantams for two games at 9:30am and 12:30pm. In the first game the Aces fell 2-0 while falling victim to having two goals called back. In the second game the Aces found their stride skating to a 3-1 victory. Chloe Loerzel opened the scoring with a shot from the blueline. Sarah Bailey then scored to make it 2-0 with the assist coming from Abby Gilchrist. The Edge scored making it a one goal game. The Aces Lily Daum finished off the scoring with an assist from Olivia Galloway making the final 3-1.

A fabulous weekend experience for the players and parents of the Accumetal Bantam A Aces!
